Samuel Gawith St. James’ Flake Tobacco is an already delicious and flavoursome blend of fine bright Virginias added to with some genuine Perique to give a light peppery characteristic. This blend is enjoyed by pipe smokers the world over for its medium strength and superb quality. The perique offers mild fruit/raisin/plum notes with some pepper as a supporting player. It has a naturally dark fruit sweet, slightly grassy, rather earthy Virginia taste, and a hint of chocolate if you are looking for it. And there is a very mild sweet topping, but it is not distracting in any way.
